Niche Amazon Product Review Sites

You could honestly sit for around two hours banging your head on the desk once white page syndrome begins in niche hunting. The most common niche blog on the net today (after internet marketing) is Amazon and Clickbank review sites which affiliate with companies, and have Adsense built in. The ease in which somebody can begin a website from scratch, and then have a fully working blog, full of content is stunningly fast – even for newbies. The clear winner, though, has to be Amazon products. A method was discussed on a few forums regarding setting up very basic sites which have one to four images, and then just a quick article about the product. Around the article, and the site itself is Adsense. Besides the Adsense, there is a link to Amazon for the actual product. The speed in which these sites convert is unthinkable, only the problem often can be FINDING a niche product in the first place. If you started to look for a product now on Amazon that you could compete for, it would most likely take you a while, by looking at best sellers lists all you are doing is looking at heavily competitive products. By surfing aimlessly through Amazon, you are wasting time. You cannot win.

A site which will cut down this time fast is Brand Name Coupons which houses a great little page that links you direct to the best deals on Amazon. The reason this site is so useful, is that you can literally log on the internet every day, and pick 100’s of products that will get the attention of your visitors. Instead of a single page site, you can have pages and pages of products, all up to 90% off RRP. This will certainly get them interested enough to click through to your site, and of course through to Amazon itself.

PPC/Blogging Arbitrage

PPC/Blogging Arbitrage

It is very possible to perform arbitrage on your blog with Adwords or any pay per click (PPC) system. Arbitrage simply means that you are buying traffic that will convert well on your blog, and selling products or earning revenue that will be worth more than the expense of the PPC traffic itself. For example, if you sold ebooks for $20 and you bought traffic at $0.02 per click, you would need to sell one every 10 clicks to break even. However, if you sold 2 ebooks, then you would be in profit. The trick is to get the best possible converting traffic that you can.

Do not assume that all you need is a keyword that will cover the whole niche, and nothing more. What you need are special keywords that take some people hours to find. These are buying keywords. The keywords you need are the ones that people are typing in, and are ready to buy. In some niches, this is easy to do, because the keyword modifiers used are such as “buy shower curtain” or “purchase lawnmower”. When it comes to products like ebooks or internet marketing coaching for example, you would struggle to find the buying keywords, unless you begin to think differently about your visitor.

Instead of trying to think of a buying keyword (where there may not necessarily be one) you should concentrate on the way you handle the visitor when they arrive. If they arrived from a keyword like “seo coaching” for example, there is no need whatsoever to explain to them why they need coaching – because they have already decided they need it. Simply give them what they are looking for – details of the coaching, and a price. You can apply this to any niche where the product or service itself does not have immediately recognisable buying keywords.

An introduction to Adsense blogging: Part 2

Once you have decided what niche you are going to dominate, you need a solid and workable method of picking the keywords and putting together the content for your site. People’s common misconceptions are that keywords are pretty easy to find, because all they need to do is find a keyword that has tons of traffic, and then fill their blog with content about that keyword. Wrong. They are also under the impression that content can be automatically generated from other websites, and never be penalized by The Big G. Wrong.

The two most crucial aspects of blog design and developing are keywords and content. You can find keywords that have loads of searches – but what if 100 million other sites are using the same keywords? You can also buy an autoblogging plugin which add articles to your blog every hour, that other people have written. But what about Google’s policy on using unique content? The best way to get ahead, is to use a niche keyword tool and an article spinner.

Niche Keyword Tools

To find your keywords, it would be better to use a piece of software like Micro Niche Finder or even an online solution like Wordstream. These will deliver hundreds of keywords based on the niche you are interested in. For example, once you enter a niche like “dog grooming” the software will toddle off and dig up any related keywords to that niche. You then take these keywords and put them into a competition analysis tool.

Competition Analysis Tools

Market Samurai is a superb tool, and comes with free keyword research tools built-in, and you need never upgrade to the paid version. You will be able to find out the competition levels for your keywords very easily with this tool. Traffic Travis is very handy for finding out the competition for your keywords. It is also free.

Choosing Your Niche To Dominate & Make Money

Choosing Your Niche To Dominate & Make Money

Deciding about what your going to blog about and most importantly picking a domain name for your blog is the most important part of starting your blog.  The reason i say this is because you want a domain name that is going to match the content of your blog and also a domain name that is keyword friendly, even better is if you choose a domain name that will have your main keyword within your domain name, this will help the optimisation of your blog and also help with your search engine rankings.

What i do is, first i research the keywords that have less competition for the niche im going to blog about and also has a good amount of monthly searches.  I use Googles free keyword tool:

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Simply enter in a keyword related to your niche as below, for this example i will target a niche blog on “LCD TVs”:

Then you will receive the results, on the match type field select Phrase as i’ve done below.  This will put quotes around the keyword and give more accurate results.

Now what you want to do is go to Google.com and see what competition there is for this keyword.  What you want to do is find a keyword that has less then 50,000 competing websites because the less competition for that keyword the more likely you will rank on page 1 for that keyword.

For example go to Google and do the following with your chosen keyword (The keyword I chose from my list was “best flat screen tv” which has a monthly search volume of 9,900) making sure to put the quote marks around your keyword as I’ve done below:

Now once you have chosen the keyword you want to target, next is to search online to see if there is a domain available that has your main keyword within the domain name.

The ideal domain extensions you want are

  1. First option for .com if its available
  2. 2nd option if .com is taken is .org
  3. 3rd option if both .com and .org are taken then get .net

If all 3 extensions are taken then what you can do is add something to the end of the domain for example:

www.bestflatscreentvonline.com

www.bestflatscreentvworld.com

www.bestflatscreentvinfo.com

etc..

Make sure you don’t have any dashes (-) in your domain name and make sure your keyword starts at the beginning.
