Niche Advertising On TV – The Future Is Now

Niche Advertising On TV – The Future Is Now

After an Adwords campaign that has been fairly successful, you may be looking for other ways you can get lots of eyes on your ads, and drag them through to your websites. If Adwords hurt your wallet, then is it because you didn’t have a high enough quality landing page? Is it because your competitors were outbidding you? Or is it because Adwords is now one of the most guru dominant marketplaces in niche marketing?

It would have to be said that the latter is certainly true, whilst the former are just possibilities. You may not have heard, but Google now run TV ads. Not just videos appearing on websites, but live TV advertisements that run on national cable access channels in America. This is a step too far for some website owners, and they see it as a gimmicky way for Google to continue world domination.

If you can imagine Pay Per View marketing, but with extremely good demographic targeting, you would still be quite far from where Google TV Ads are. They enable you to pinpoint the exact type of viewer you want, and allow you to track them and improve your ads over time. Just like Adwords, you can set a budget, and then tailor your campaign. Amazingly, you can start on a budget of a few hundred dollars (though Google say you can start with $20). You just need a good video. And if you do not want to pay thousands of dollars for this, you can pay someone in the marketplace that Google have set up. This video for example cost around $500. You will agree that it is indeed a nice video, and would get some visitors to a website. If you add in the cost of impressions on your ad, you could get this up for about $1000. Considering the amount of people you could get to a niche site, that is monetized well, you may end up earning much more for your dollars than Adwords could ever provide. And remember – each ad is seriously targeted…

Finding Underpromoted Products

Finding Underpromoted Products

If you are struggling to find a niche on Clickbank or Paydotcom that you can sell on your niche blog, then it is advisable that you have three websites that you regularly subscribe to their RSS feeds. These sites will let you know as soon as a product is launched, and also when a joint venture is being requested by the authors of the products. You may find it very difficult to compete for some keywords relating to Clickbank products, because affiliates are straight away going to be creating sniper sites for page one stardom. Your best bet is getting in either before a product is launched, or on day one of the actual launch itself.

CB Analytics is one of the leading websites that notify you when a product is launched on Clickbank. You can get lots of great information about the gravity of a product etc. so it is well worth signing up and also adding their RSS feed, so you get up to the minute information on new products.

CBEngine is another site in the same style of CB Analytics, and will also allow you to get information on products that re-listed and/or underpromoted. This can offer you some great lead time on getting a ste ranked for that product, and earning some money alongside the big hitters in affiliate marketing.

Another site that deserves a mention is JV Notify Pro, because this site tells you when a product is DUE to be launched. This can often give you up to two months to prepare your sites and marketing. You can also get plenty of sales copy and graphics together in this time. When a product comes up on there, you will of course be amongst hundreds of other people who are already promoting, or actually about to start promoting the same offer – so you must make sure your marketing plan is fast and furious.

Using Facebook For Traffic

Using Facebook For Traffic

There has been much concern over some of Facebook’s features being used for spamming. The best feature that has fallen into the wrong hands is Facebook’s tagging feature, which can be used very well for marketing, but unfortunately spammers use it to mass tag people, who have no interest in the link whatsoever.

Facebook tagging is another way of inviting people to look at a photo, link or page you find interesting online. You simply type the @ symbol, followed by the name of a friend in your friends list (or a page that you are connected to) and then the interesting info you have found. For the marketer, there are great ways to use this, such as posting links to new content on your site, and having THOUSANDS of people reading it.

For example, if you created a new post on your blog, which was a review of a product, with which you are affiliated, then you would be able to link to this page quite easily, on a very popular page that you are a fan of. So let’s say you are reviewing a marketing ebook that specialises in backlinking. You would make yourself a member of a fan page that is related to backlinking, and then write a short update on your wall, including the fan page name after the @ sign. E.g.: “ @Backlinking Group : This is a frank review of Backlinking Bonanza v3.0, and I’ve pulled no punches. Let me know what you think.” After the above text, click the Add Link button, and enter your URL. If you have a fan page – even better (because you will get a small icon pop up too in the update). This status update would then be posted to the fan page (which could have thousands of regular viewers), thus putting your link in front of those users – and getting traffic!

The Best Sales Pages and Squeeze Pages

The Best Sales Pages and Squeeze Pages

If you have been fortunate enough to be on a top email marketing list from one of the gurus lately, you may have noticed that things have changed with squeeze pages. No longer do you have to scroll through 15 pages of information that leaves your eyes heavy, and there’s no more hype after pitch after hype in big bold letters. The game has changed across the world, and everyone is changing the way they handle squeeze pages and sales pages.

Some time ago, the only way you would be talked into a sale from someone you had never met or seen before is with a long and drawn out sales page. Even if the sales page was short, there was still so much of the same thing going around, that you got bored after 30 seconds. Now, the main players, and the ones who saw the tsunami coming, are using video sales pages to do their work for them.

What video sales pages mean to the average marketer is the opportunity to get a prospect interested in two things at once: you and your product. They instantly feel that they are being spoken to, and they are listening to what you have to say. They don’t need to scroll down the page, everything is above the fold. And that, in all honesty, is the way it should be.

The most simple layouts work. Just a video on one side of the page, and an arrow pointing to an email capture is all that’s needed. And if you are doing your selling right there and then, a big buy it now button is all that is required. You can get across 3000 words in the time it takes to make a cup of coffee, so the viewer genuinely has no problem in sitting there whilst you sell to them.

Whether you are selling your own products, or even affiliate products – these sales pages will return much more than words ever could.

What can you sell to everyone?

What can you sell to everyone?

Web hosting has become the biggest selling thing on the internet as far as internet marketing and internet business goes, because it is the first thing every developer, graphic artist, blogger or programmer needs.  If you are selling services or products that mean the buyer will need hosting – did you ever consider selling web hosting as an affiliate? The one product you can sell to virtually every single person who hits your site is web hosting, in this case, therefore you really ought to think about affiliating with at least one company who can provide a reseller account – or just an affiliate opportunity for single site web hosting.

There are many ways you can get into hosting, and these range from simply signing up to an affiliate company, right through to becoming a reseller, and setting people up on your reseller hosting account yourself, based on their domain name. The very best way to get started, is to examine how much time you want to spend setting up the hosting packages. You will of course be able to do it the easy way with affiliation, and simply sign up with GoDaddy or HostGator as an affiliate, and put links to their hosting packages on your site.

The other way, is as a reseller, and this takes a little more time. You can set your own price as a reseller, charging as little as $1 a year if you wished. You simply need to cover you own reseller costs, and then you’re set. When a person purchases hosting from you, you take their domain name, and add it to your package control panel in around two minutes. You then inform them how to set up their nameservers. This can be done in a template email. Always choose a reliable host, because when the hosting goes down (and most do) they will be emailing you in their hundreds…

Niche Amazon Product Review Sites

Niche Amazon Product Review Sites

You could honestly sit for around two hours banging your head on the desk once white page syndrome begins in niche hunting. The most common niche blog on the net today (after internet marketing) is Amazon and Clickbank review sites which affiliate with companies, and have Adsense built in. The ease in which somebody can begin a website from scratch, and then have a fully working blog, full of content is stunningly fast – even for newbies. The clear winner, though, has to be Amazon products. A method was discussed on a few forums regarding setting up very basic sites which have one to four images, and then just a quick article about the product. Around the article, and the site itself is Adsense. Besides the Adsense, there is a link to Amazon for the actual product. The speed in which these sites convert is unthinkable, only the problem often can be FINDING a niche product in the first place. If you started to look for a product now on Amazon that you could compete for, it would most likely take you a while, by looking at best sellers lists all you are doing is looking at heavily competitive products. By surfing aimlessly through Amazon, you are wasting time. You cannot win.

A site which will cut down this time fast is Brand Name Coupons which houses a great little page that links you direct to the best deals on Amazon. The reason this site is so useful, is that you can literally log on the internet every day, and pick 100’s of products that will get the attention of your visitors. Instead of a single page site, you can have pages and pages of products, all up to 90% off RRP. This will certainly get them interested enough to click through to your site, and of course through to Amazon itself.

PPC/Blogging Arbitrage

PPC/Blogging Arbitrage

It is very possible to perform arbitrage on your blog with Adwords or any pay per click (PPC) system. Arbitrage simply means that you are buying traffic that will convert well on your blog, and selling products or earning revenue that will be worth more than the expense of the PPC traffic itself. For example, if you sold ebooks for $20 and you bought traffic at $0.02 per click, you would need to sell one every 10 clicks to break even. However, if you sold 2 ebooks, then you would be in profit. The trick is to get the best possible converting traffic that you can.

Do not assume that all you need is a keyword that will cover the whole niche, and nothing more. What you need are special keywords that take some people hours to find. These are buying keywords. The keywords you need are the ones that people are typing in, and are ready to buy. In some niches, this is easy to do, because the keyword modifiers used are such as “buy shower curtain” or “purchase lawnmower”. When it comes to products like ebooks or internet marketing coaching for example, you would struggle to find the buying keywords, unless you begin to think differently about your visitor.

Instead of trying to think of a buying keyword (where there may not necessarily be one) you should concentrate on the way you handle the visitor when they arrive. If they arrived from a keyword like “seo coaching” for example, there is no need whatsoever to explain to them why they need coaching – because they have already decided they need it. Simply give them what they are looking for – details of the coaching, and a price. You can apply this to any niche where the product or service itself does not have immediately recognisable buying keywords.
